2009 ford focus st Keyfob

Hi All,need some help,i have a 2009 ford focus st and the keyfob is playing up,it doesnt operate the central locking anymore so i have to use the key to get into the car,i know the central locking works as all the doors unlock when using the key and i know the keyfob works because if i press a button when near it the dashboard light comes on also the car knows the fob is in it,ive changed the keyfob battery but no joy,its really starting to annoy me as i have to keep pressing the start button once i open the door otherwise the alarm goes off

Electrical cleaner on the button maybe. Probably a bit dirty maybe.
Old fords like my 2006 transit connect was easy to get a new fob and program myself.
Don't know about yours.
There are mobile locksmith with the car tech that can sort.
Also some locksmiths also have the programming equipment to sort key fob
