20mm Solid oak Flooring

I have had a conservatory put up and they have laid a floating floor made up of T&G chip/b with a foam 50mm underneath. Trouble is at most edges it is moving up and down and noisy in places.
I know this is not right, but how do I get them to lay the right floor, ie battens then board ? quick reply needed javascript:emoticon('

Refuse the last payment until they put it right.

BTW, solid 20mm Oak flooring in conservatory? We always recommend wood-engineered flooring in places likes that: where you can have rapid changes in temperature (and even condensation)
