22mm coated copper

Can 22mm coated copper be bent using a pipe bender or does the coating prevent it from sitting in the guide of the pipe bender.

Not sure what coating you have, but as an novice I have achieved quite nice bends

I have never used coated copper before just wonderd it the coating made bending harder

I would have thought it obvious even to an amateur, that 22mm coated is not 22mm od with the coating.
It will not fit in the guide unless coating removed.

If it's chromed copper then it will be ok in a pipe bender

you can do it,
the pipe can be difficult to get out the bending machine after and the coating will be rippled at the back of the bend and thinner on the outside.

Thanks is coated copper just normal copper underneath? Sure I have seen coated copper that is soft and.malleable

Depends on which grade copper it is.
Soft copper comes in rolls.
