3/4 inch to 22mm connector

Hello,

I have a leaking cylinder from the flow and i tried nipping up the connections but still seems to drip.

Should this connection be used with a rubber washer or just directly screwed with some PTFE tape?

Should be a fibre washer on top of the tank if my memory serves me correctly and if you are talking about the bit that screws into the tank

That fitting usually needs ptfe on the male thread

But post a photo of the leaking fitting/cylinder connection,its easy to damage cylinders and have an almighty water leak

You may have plumbing insurance,worth a check.

Thanks i will put some more PTFE on and give that a try

Would you ever put any jointing compound on the male tread?
