thought id start this off, something i read in another post something petewood said "I'd be interested to know what price the others would put on their freedom". lets say the jail is close to were you live, youve still got the same job and no criminal record when you get out what is the least amount of money you would want for the 3 months in jail. if your gonna say a million forget it, its only 3 months. imagine theres someone offering the moneyand the cheapest gets it. how much do you want?

scatman you've won, but cannot take part if your already incarcerated, sectioned or sentenced.but you can enter the next one, "what would you give for half an ounce of burn if your locked up for 3 months"

£250,000 or thereabouts. Enough so I could take a year or two out and have a hell of a good time!

I'd want some free Tai Kwon Do lessons beforehand, as well as lots of cigarettes to bribe the other inmates. I don't want to get nonced in the bottom, even for a quarter of a million.

It would have to be a big fist of cash.

Come to think of it, fist can be a verb.

Indeed. Add 'ing' to it and it is past and present tense.

Erm, I don't think so, but I might be wrong. "I am fisting", yes. "I have fisting", no. I think it is a 'gerund' or the past participle would be "I fisted". Flippin' 'eck I'm boring myself. I might be wrong though. I was one of the first generations not to do the nomenclature of grammar at school. Something I am slightly bitter about.

I can speak Glasgow (born), Yorkshire (wife), Lancashire (father) and Black Country (8 years) though. And b*llocks of course, everyone knows that.

No, I think you are right. I was thinking of along the lines of 'and he gave me a right good fisting'.

However, I think that in this context the 'gave' is what makes it past tense and not the 'fisting'.

Apologies :!: ;)
