if i change an old drayton 3 port valve with a new one will the wiring be the same? its bout 15-20 years old.
also the pilot has gone out on the boiler for first time ever. they have been having trouble with the valve going onto hot water as its jammed so manual pressing has been done for past week. the boiler is potteren netaheat mk2 16-20/? any help

if changing a drayton for say a honeywell 3 port valve (mid position)?? then the wiring may be slightly different, eg different colour wires. but the new valve may have instructions...
 
if the wire colours look different, you can email Drayton (Invensys) Controls with the part no of your old head, and I am sure they will be able to tell you which colour does what. they can also tell you the part no of the current model to replace your old one.

If you have a Drayton programmer as well they can probably send you a complete circuit diagram.

They make and have made stuff under various brand names.
