Hi Guys,
System as follows,baxi bermuda,old style Tempus7,Flowshare2 actuator,rts1 room stat,hts3 tank stat.
Removed the programmer to decorate and when refitting it was still powered up and had a few sparks when the pins contacted, since then CH works but when it calls for HW the valve is not moving across but if you turn the CH off and turn tank stat down and then back up it moves over and boiler lights then put CH on and the valve will move to mid position but when either CH or HW is satisfied it will be back to CH and and have to start again.have replaced the programmer with a lp722 and a new tank stat but still the same also bridged the room stat but it will still not move to HW when calling.
none of the wiring has been disturbed but i cannot figure out why i am getting 175v on the grey wire to valve when it is calling for heat and 240v when satisfied, both of these are with the CH on,i have removed the actuator and the spindle is free to move but there is what looks like a resistor in the actuator, could this have gone high or am i barking up the wrong tree?
