Just planted a long line of hedging plants and it's taking an age to water.
There are 2 rows of plants 30 meters (so 60 meters worth in total).
Online I have seen DIY examples of people making their own soaker/weeping hose by adding holes to an old hose.
Thinking of splitting the hose and running 2 pipes with holes down each line of planting. Or if the brought-in options would work, would consider this as well.
Am concerned about water pressure (will it work at all) and how hot the hose would get, would it break down during summer months or boil the roots?
Has anyone got any experience of similar or any thoughts on this?
