Im just having a new kitchen fitted (housing assoc.......) and the cooker has been moved to the other side of the kitchen because of safety reasons.(the cooker has been right beside the kitchen door ) The electricans have put surface wiring and then trunking around instead of tracing the wiring in. Is this ok with 30 amp wiring?? Ive been told that 30 amp wiring should always be traced in...
Thanks guys xx

Don't worry about it!

As long as the cable is correctly rated, it doesn't matter what the installation method is.
