Hiya I've fitted a (aquaflow brand) reducer from 32mm mdpe coming out of the ground to 20mm mdpe above ground.
(the 20mm does go below ground again to the yellow water tank but that's all fine)
The problem is where the 32mm out of the ground joins the 32mm side of the reducer. A 32mm Insert was used.
It was a little leakb at first, but after tightening it got worse, so I loosened it... It got worse. I went back to the original tightness and it's still worse! Lol
How about putting ptfe tape around the 32mm mdpe and fitting the reducer again?
(edit) Oh btw, The pipe coming out of the ground is probably about 30 / 35 or maybe 40 years old, so could it not be 32mm pipe??
Any ideas please guys? Thanks
