4+n intercom (Terraneo 603) issues/replacement

Hi all,

Having a few issues with my Terraneo 603 which I'm fairly certain is beyond life expired - I'm not even sure they make plastic in this colour any more! I've included a link to the datasheet below:

Essentially my voice handset has gone completely - and I'm therefore debating a replacement - clearly with this operating as a 4+n system replacement should be fairly straightforward. I'm rather keen on something like the Videx 5112 or 5118 (see https://doorentrydirect.com/videx-5112-white-surface-apartment)

However I've reached a bit of a conundrum. According to the Videx technical manual I should have both a +12v DC input and a ground - yet my Terraneo simply has a common ground and no 12v DC in?

Am I just being daft or are these fundamentally incompatible?

Is it a single or block of flats your intercom is attached to ? ....in theory all 4 plus handsets should work ....but not ...you may have various issues with inwards and outward speech plus other things, best bet is to fit the current replacement handset ( may be legrand ) or worst case a universal handset which will have mic and speaker gains in the handset , links for floating ground and buzzer or electronic call jumpers ...
