407 heating

I have a 2006 peugeot 407 but the heating is barely blowing.
The passenger side blows a little warm but there is nothing on the drivers side.

Is the temperature gauge reading normal? If not could be a faulty thermostat, if it is, either an air lock in the heater or a faulty flap motor in the heater unit.

As above and check the coolant level.
If in doubt about an air lock, you should have a bleed nipple on the heater pipes. Open until you see coolant coming out, if you can't find the nipple, loosen the small heater pipes going from the engine bay into the passenger compartment. Again open until you see coolant coming, then tighten the jubilee clip.
