Helping out with a kitchen install and came to wire the new Bosch induction hob in. There's 5 wires and don't seem to be any instructions available, or they're amongst the piles of rubbish somewhere. The wires are blue, brown, black, grey and earth. Can any experts say what to do with these wires or point to a wiring diagram?

Also we were hoping to wire it into a plug for the single socket on a patress box that is in the right position. Bearing in mind it's now 5 wires, would a fused spur on the single box, etc be better? Or what would be best to connect the 5 wires to the 3 from cooker switch instead of something on a pattress box?

Thanks for any advice for this one.

Look up the model number for the installation manual as a pdf file. It'll be two 'Lives' and two 'Neutrals' for pairs of the induction burners. Pretty sure the hob end will have the wiring marked, too.

My Bosch induction hob uses BN & BK for Live. GY & BU for Neutral. Or would have if I'd not used the existing T+E from the previous hob instead, along with the links in the hob terminals.

I had 5 wires on my Neff induction hob. Wired to the 6mm cooker outlet. 2 lives, 2 neutrals and an earth. They power the left and right sides of the hob.
