Dame Shirley Porter tried to sell off housing to influence the voting results in Westminster. Is JP Yorkshire born and Yorkshire bred, strong in arm etc, or is he just trying to influence the voting in the "east of England"? Currently a tory biased area.
Or perhaps JP thinks that "affordable housing" for "key workers"..........what a load of cr ap!! Ashford, Kent (which is going to get another develpoment of 30,000 houses) used to have lots of "affordable houses" but now a couple of ex-teachers have bought 500 for "buy to let" They have pushed the price of houses up, and don't the local population just love 'em,...not!
Houses are built in a way which is cheaper than 30 years ago, but it doesn't seem to affect the price.
Anyway back to the cuddly JP (cough), why is some one like this, with so little ability and so large a mouth allowed to do things?
