you want shelves only 1cm deep?

What do you collect... thimbles?
Oh, my apologies, it is meant to be the other way around. So 1cm in the height, and 10cm in the depth.
I collect pringles cans if that is any help

Full size backer board of 12mm MDF with 100mm wide shelves of 18mm MDF screwed (from the back) and glued to it? It'd cost a bit less than £600.

Those measurements still seem to be wrong, unless you have miniature Pringle cans !

10cm is 100mm or 4 inches, (builders usually measure in mm, or inches) so you could fit small model cars, or whisky bottles, on there, as well as Pringles tubes.

1cm (10mm) thick is strong enough for pringles tubes, but not for anything substantial. 18mm board is commonly used for shelves.

@JobAndKnock has a simple and economical idea.
