6 inch blocks for garage wall are piers needed

hi all building a new garage if I use 6 inch blocks do I need pier the side wall will be 5.2m long and 2.3 high with a 1.2m return at both ends and if not will I get away with narrower footings
just weighing options up 6 or 4 inch blocks or do I lay a concrete base and build steel framed garage
1 wall is a neighbours house the front is all roller door the rear is part existing extension and new door and window so only leaves the outer wall and under and above the doors and window

My plans just got approved for our garage to be constructed in 6" blocks with no piers.
