Hi. Can someone send me a link to 600 grit sanding block or tell me where I can buy one? I can't find anything online. I just want to do a final sanding after the last coat on varnish on some shelves. There's a very faint roughness that I want to remove.

My suggestions:

Or get a 're-fillable' sanding block and cut sheets of 600grit wet and dry sandpaper to fit.

Halfords will sell 600 grit. It will be wet and dry paper but it will work for what you want to do. Alternatively just try lightly rubbing the shelves with the back of any sandpaper you have then give them a good blast of spray polish. Pledge is a good one as it contains a bit of silicone, I suspect if they are freshly coated removing the ‘static’ will give you a silky feel and remove the gritty feel.

I bought these and they did the job perfectly. Very happy with the results.
