have a 8 year old accenta alarm , recently had power cut ,replaced battery, everything fine other than cannot get stobe on external bell box to turn off . any helpful comments please !!

First make sure the panel is reset, if not open control panel and remove one of the strobe + or - wires check if it's stopped or not ! If it's still flashing it's either a faulty bellbox or a cable fault. I have seen ade panels where the output for strobe sems to latch on in alarm so if it's not flashing when you remove the wire reconnect recheck and down power for 30sec if it was still flashing. Make sure the panel is reset or it will flash untill reset.
