so many services are now on AWS, A lot of government services HMRC , GP Surgeries , Insurance Companies , Formula 1, Banks , Telephone/Mobile , BBC , Netflix , Linkedin - to name a few
AWS is the worlds biggest Cloud Service , and has been for a while now. An interesting BBC program, I think, last year went into how amazon growth and AWS and also highlighted the revenue from UK to AWS , against its tax bill to UK

Linkedin is owned by Microsoft, didn't they move to Azure? The ones that surprise me are the supermarket/retailers who run on AWS, literally funding their competitors. If those guys can't see the light, there is no hope.

you are right, i just took a list from a website for highest spend based on 2020 - the list may not be correct, but many companies are on AWS, was the point.
