Hi There,
I've just installed a two way dimmer onto an existing lighting circuit, by installing a new two way switch and connecting the three core and earth wire to that switch and connecting it to a new two way dimmer, however, the light works, but only off one switch ie If the light is turned on at the switch if cannot be turned off at the dimmer, and vice versa, and in addition to this the dimmer does not dim, when the light is turned on at the switch.
For the three core and earth cable I've got the Grey going to L1 , brown to L2 and black to L3 on the switch, and in the dimmer I've got grey to common, brown to L1 and black to L2.
Also have the brown going to L1 and Blue going to L2 on the switch which come from a junction box.
What have I done wrong?
Thanks
