After hearing how useless those tubular-keyed camlocks are, i bought some Abloy camlocks (suited to the same key as i don't like carrying great bunches) and fitted them to my key cabinets and petty cash tin. I have some left over, and was wondering if there is a way I can use one on my garage door - it has a Henderson T-handle with integral cylinder, operating a square shaft for the left-and-right steel strips.
This lock is mostly for convenience, as I have padbolts top and bottom inside the up-and-over door when unattended.
I can't think of a way of doing it, my only reason is to reduce still further the number of keys I carry.
Any ideas?
