about to take a hammer to my boiler, requesting help

i know i'm thick but how do you top up a powermax 140/155 boiler. i've taken the front panel off and found the mains cold inlet but there is no valve. please help.

Is it open vented or sealed? (ie feed tank in the loft). I have a fantastic sledge hammer if you need to borrow it.
