Accenta alarm beeps every ten minutes

Can anyone help before I call engineer and feel silly?

Have an accenta alarm. Has worked normally for 6 months I have been in house. Now emits a single beep every 10 minutes or so, day and night

With these alarms I would suggest you replace the battery in the main control panel if it is over 4-5 years old.
If you are going to get an engineer then I would advise to get the system serviced.

The beeps are a servicing warning after it has been set over 500 times If I remember correctly. The Accenta 6 that was in my house had a shot battery that had been in there ever since installation. Never beeped once.. until it crashed and was removed.
