HI,I HAVE THE G3 ALARM AND FOLLOWING A POWER CUT THE OUTSIDE STROBE WONT STOP FLASHING,IVE TAKEN THE BATTERY OUT AND REPLACED WITH AN IDENTICAL NEW ONE(YUASA NP2.1-12 etc) BUT ITS STILL FLASHING AND MAKING A QUIET PULSING NOISE, HELP PLEASE!!!!!

Try putting your code in and pressing reset.
remove the strobe wires from inside the control panel and see if this stops the strobe from flashing this will prove if its the panel or bellbox at fault, normal warning mains voltage inside control panel, what bell box do you have ?

Right, the reset is not working.
Do as suggested above.
If it stops, remove all power to the panel and then reapply. It could need a reboot.
If it carries on remove the cable at the bell too. This will prove the bell/strobe unit totally.
Then what is left is your solution.

have you disconnected the strobe wires from the panel ? if so you may have a shorted cable or you may have a texecom bellbox some did have a strobe problem but they where about 10 years ago.
