Accenta G3 with LCD remote key pad

I have an Accenta G3 (quite old but working OK) but the remote keypad by the front door has been damaged.

Will the LCD remote keypad from an Accenta G4 work with the G3 ? I can get an LED panel but thought I might as well upgrade to the LCD if I'm replacing it anyway.

(I have the engineers code so no problem with tamper etc).

it will work as an LED keypad but the LCD display will only show a software version number so pretty pointless, best to stick with an LED keypad.
