Accenta+ house alarm

We’ve moved into a rented house that has an Accenta alarm. The light for Zone 3 (living room) is constantly on which I think stops me from the setting the system. I read through online user manuals and tried the reset button but can’t get it to disappear. Can anyone help ?

I swear this light wasn’t on a few days back I’m hoping it’s nothing too difficult to sort out And it can be done via the keypad

Have you got a passive infra red detector in the living room (usually in the corner near the ceiling?

Has the alarm triggered recently?

If so, did you press reset twice after unsetting the system?

Reset button has X on it.

Yes , I’ve pressed the reset button multiple times !

What happens is :

I type in my code , zone 3 light comes on , I get a short rapid beep that continues until I cancel it

Does the LED light up on the living PIR when you move in front of it ?

You need to confirm what is on zone 3
If your property is rented then ask the landlord to sort out.
