Actuator, i think????

Hiya,

I have a Ideal Isar HE30 which isn't a good start, i think the actuator is knackered but could do with confirmation from someone who know what they are talking about. The acuator is staying on CH whenever we need hot water i move it manually to DHW, its my understanding that this should happen automatically, is that right and do i need a new actuator?

Well, I would be more cautious!

There is noevidence presented that the boiler is even responding for a demand for DHW.

Then I dont know if the PCB is sending the signal to the diverter valve motor!

Whilst it may well be the motor failed, before I changed it I would have measured the voltage presented to it. But then i never was a parts changer.
