Hi all
Looking for some advice that I'm going about this the right way please. We have a keypad next to a door that I want to put a contact on. Six core cable runs to the panel with two cores spare, so my plan is to use a junction box on the two spare cores and wire up the contact, then connect the two spare cores at the panel to an empty zone. Is this the right way of doing this?
Also to wire up to the panel do I put in hold off mode then disconnect mains and the battery?
Thanks for any help
