Hi,
I am about to install a new dishwasher in my kitchen where currently there is only space for a washing machine. Firstly I need to make the physical space (which I'll be making by relocating a draw base unit) and it will be located under the opposite side of the sink to the existing WM, leaving a single base unit cupboard in between the two appliances.
The other task is to plumb it in and I think I have purchase the right plumbing bits to adapt the existing plumbing, but I just wanted to run it by to make sure I'm on the right track.
Water supply - I have assumed I can solve with an easy solution by getting one of these http://www.screwfix.com/p/washing-m...arch-_-SearchRec-_-Area3&_requestid=56146#_=p
Drainage - My current, single appliance arrangment has something like this fitted http://www.screwfix.com/p/mcalpine-appliance-trap-40mm-white/81714. I plan to swap that for this http://www.screwfix.com/p/mcalpine-appliance-trap-40mm-white/95241. Seems a straight forward enough swap, however, one of the two discharge nozzles has a kind of baffle where it enters the trap. I have taken a couple of pics to try and show what I mean:

I was just wondering what the significance of the 'baffle' was, and whether it matters which appliance waste connects to it?
Would welcome your general comments / advice on the install.
Thanks
