Adding lights

If I have a multi terminal box with 2 core light cable and 3 core switch cable coming out canput a 3 core strapping cable from the existing switch to a new switch for 2 way use or do I need to feed the new switch from the terminal box also?

yes, it is always possible to make a 1 way switch into a 2 way by taking a three core cable from it, assuming the mechanical conditions (room, chasable walls etc) are permitting.
