Help please,
I've inherited a brand new "Addis Thermo Pot Instant Thermal Hot Water Boiler Dispenser"
But it's dead.
Opened it up and there's a wire just 'hanging'
See picture.
Any ideas?
Thanks

It looks as if the blue wire, originates from a second terminal, top left in your photo - in which case I think it would be unusual to need a link from one part of a PCB, to another - it would have been cheaper/simpler to just have a track. Does the end of the blue wire actually fit the socket marked 'GO HERE'?

The fitting on the end of the blue wire looks like it might be a thermocouple or something. Show us the other end of it.

Mine are always braided in yellow meaning K type

Blue is T type
(Reads up to 400C which would make sense)

Thanks for your replies.
I worked it out, the blue wire goes to the external, 3 pin power socket, attached to the bottom of the unit.
