I have 4 rolls of wallpaper border to stick onto an existing wallpaper - which is a very simple/basic textured paper that has been painted several times with vinyl silk emulsion.
the border paper is very similar to a heavy vinyl wallpaper and I need to know the best type of adhesive to use. The border label suggests a border adhesive, but on going into Homebase that only seems to come in tubes and seems more marketed towards wallpaper edge sticking. Besides, it would cost a fortune to buy it in tubes!
I seem to remember that the last time I purchased an edge adhesive it looked a lot like pva, which seems a little ‘heavy handed’ for the job I have to do
any advice / suggestions please?
