Hi,
I will be purchasing some self adhesive brush seal to help eliminate draught. But what really isn't clear is where I install the seal itself.
I've attached photos of the door frame where I will be installing it. Where do I install the brush seal:
1. Would I install the brush seal on the SIDE of the door frame, so the brush part touches SIDE of the door when it closes (aka where the striker plate is),
2. Install on the door frame FACING the door, so when the door closes, it will push against the brush seal.
I imagine option 2 would prevent the door from closing properly? If anyone can share best practices when installing these seals, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks
