Adhesive removal from concrete floor

Hi, am in the process of putting down ceramic tiles in my Kitchen. I have attempted to take up the existing lino, only to it has been stuck down with adhesive all over. With much effort I am am slowly getting the lino up, but the adhesive has set rock hard and stays stuck to the floor, it has taken me two days to clear about 1msq using a heat gun and scraper, is there any other methods (eg chemical stripper or hire machine) that I could use ?
