I have got my new PVC door in place and the locking mechanism works, but it is a bit rough when you lift the handle upwards. So ideally it could use a little adjustment.

Initially it didnt engage and so i slacked off the bottom hinge and after that it was ok.

My door is a composite from panels direct and the hinges have a protector cover which you allen key off. Then there are two allen key bolts which you unscrew to adjust. The hinge actually tilts left or right.

I am stumped as to how you adjust these doors. Is it a case of trial and error to get that perfect connection ?

Any tips ?

Do you need to adjust the door or can you have a look at the keep? Could be that frame side needs slight adjustment to centralise the catch, rollers etc
