ADT Galaxy 2-12

I have recently moved into a new house that has an ADT Galaxy 2-12 system with remote keypad, I am assuming the contract has been terminated. The system is wired and there are some keyfobs left, but no codes or information on th alarm. Ideally I would like to put this to some use, can the system be hard reset and then reconfigured? Can I replace the panel circuit board? Can I install a wireless siren and dialler (or reconfigure the dialler, assuming it's inside the panel). I'm fairly tech savvy just after some advise on best and quickest way to get any benefit.

Reset yes , reprogrammed. Yes , wireless bell ? not that I know of , re use the comms probably not ! Talk to galaxy guy as he does self mon via app on the galaxy range
