advice : exterior step dimensions for 8" folding doors

apologies for sending two posts on the same subject![/b]

i would like to know the requirements for exterior step dimensions for 8" folding doors for my house.

i have been searching thru building regs part M but cannot find anything about the width of depth of the first step - i believe it is determined by a ratio of the door size and the amount that it portrudes out?

if this is true, then would it relate to the single opening door in a set of three (folding doors), or the three doors as they are folded together?

can anyone advise on this matter?

there should be no step the whole idea of doc m is level access to a property with a maximum 13mm threshold to allow wheel chair access.
usually only one entrance to a property has to provide for this
