Hi all,
So as in the photos below, we've mounted a boxing bag wall bracket (which has been welded to a steel plate to spread the load) to an external brick wall using 12mm shield anchors/rawl bolts in the holes of the steel plate.
I do realise we've probably mounted it a bit too high up and you can see that a couple of cracks have formed below the top layer of bricks. But we cannot mount any lower, so I need to decide how to fix the final four holes of the bracket itself. The holes are 12mm.
To avoid additional cracking, I'm thinking of using heavy duty plastic plugs and bolts. Is this a good way to go? If so or if not, please could you recommend what products you think I should use (links always appreciated!). Also, on a scale 1 to "you're ****ed", how worried should I be about those cracks?
Thanks very much in advance.
