ADVICE FOR MOVING THE KITCHEN SINK

Just moved in and my existing kitchen sink is fine, just want to move it about 1 metre along the same wall to the right.

Any of you experienced gents have any advice???

I plan to disconnect the waste and the taps, remove the sink, move the unit/cupboard 1 metre along the wall, put the old sink back into place and finally reconnect the taps and waste...

My only experience in plumbing is replacing a waste pipe so can anybody see any problems with my sink moving plan BEFORE I flood my house?

you'll have to extend the hot/cold/waste pipes.

yeah but... what is the sink going to sit on? Is it an inset sink? You'll need a new bench top.
