Good morning

We have recently moved into a property that was built around 1980. The ground floor rooms lighting is mainly served by downlights, however, there are drafts coming from each and every light fitting, in each room - kitchen, dining, living room, hall etc

I appreciate that there are different versions of downlight that may eliminate the drafts to a degree, but, is it correct that the air is there to start with?

Any advice welcome.
Thank you!

Yeah. Can bow from air vents in wall or from holes in cavity walls around joists that are venting the air you are feeling
