Hi guys
I want to knock down a single skin brick shed in our backyard.
It's approx. 3m³ all up.
Problem is this: it's about 30cm away from the neighbours fenceline at the back of our property, and the neighbour has a pool on the other side that's within a meter.
I'm petrified that if I start to knock down the shed, there is a risk that the back wall collapses towards the fenceline; through the fence; and damages the pool.
Does anyone have any advice of a safe way to demolish something like this?
Best option I've thought about so far: build a wooden brace out of pine timber that hugs the structure, and then take the bricks out, one at a time, brick by brick, row by row, working my way top down..
Thanks everyone!
