Advice needed for VIMAR 8870 wall intercom

I have a VIMAR 8870 wall intercom system. Currently the button you press to release the communal door is not working. Everything else is fine, my buzzer works, i can speak through the phone but its just the one door release button.

Any advice on if there's any easy fix on this? I wanted to see if there's any option before I get an engineer in to replace/repair.

Does the door entry button work on the other occupants phones?

If so, your button contacts look very corroded, have a look at cleaning them up with something like an emery board, or brush on some suitable household chemicals, you may have lying around.

Hi there,
Yes my neighbours buttons all work. Thank you, I did noticed those contacts looked somewhat unhealthy! I will try and give them a clean and see what happens.

Try shorting between 3 (common) and 7 (lock) with a piece of wire. That should activate the lock release.
