New here and hoping for advice.

In the process of having a new patio installed and I’m concerned about what the landscapers have done and wanted to know what I need to be asking for to solve this.

The entire garden was taken up, levelled and patio put down. But now they are at the end section I can see they have raised the height of the garden as it does not meet the side path.

They have tried to solve this by making a slope on one of side path slabs which I’m not happy with. My other concern is if the garden is now higher is that going to affect the damp proof course level?

I have taken some photos of the higher patio and where they have sloped it and also the side of the house as I can’t work out where the ‘2 below’ starts.

Can anyone advise on what I need to be asking for in order for them to solve this.

I must say there's a terrible amount of cement splatter so this is not a good sign.

The patio/gravel border has to be 150mm below the dpc to comply with building regs.

Was the yellow slab section always that level?
