I managed to make few dents on the solid beech worktop, they are from 1 to 3 milimter deep. The worktop is new(from B&Q), and has not been oiled yet. Is there anyway of repairing it?

damp cloth hot iron will probably reduce by 50% may need rubbing down as it may raise the grain

Thanks big-all for your reply, I will try it ut I have a felling that the dents might be too deep for it to work. If it does not work, can an industrial thicknesser be an option.

belt sander may be easier if your not to botherd about a slight hollow in the area
providing its not to near the sink area

yes you can if you can find a 620 capacity and take all the connected worktop with you

you might as well steam the area and take it from there

Thank big-all, I will try to steam it, will also use the yellow pages to find a joiner who can help me with a thicknesser.
Is there any filler which can be used on a beach worktop?
