I have a concrete driveway which is too high, see attached images. The drive is quite long (think 4.5 car lengths) and slopes downwards away from the house. We are seeing damp issues in the room to the right of the doorway (see second image). There are 3 waste drainage channels along the drive also.
From reading online I'm thinking of digging a channel and filling with shingles, or would i be best fitting a drainage channel along the length of the house?
Any advice on how deep/wide the channel would be and whether the channel would need to be lined etc would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
