Some time ago, I bought some nice ceramic tiles, quite large rectangular ones. The plan was to lay them myself but since then I got quite sick so it was put off.
Ideally I would now pay a professional, but as comes with sickness money is now very tight and I imagine this would cost quite a bit.
The flooring we have down currently is pretty old and worn and really needs replacing. I am not sure I can manage it on my own, but with some help from someone, my brother or dad, it might be possible.
I have never laid tiles before. I did lay my patio and garden path on my own and did a pretty good job, and that was with riven slabs that were a nightmare to get level. But I have heard that laying tiles is tricky too and I'm sure presents its own problems. Wondering if it is doable and what I can do to make it more managable?
The floor is concrete. Currently covered in lino. Happy to go get the measurements of the tiles and the rooms if needed.
Thanks for any advice.
