Advice on Mira Play Shower

i have a problem with my Mira Play 9.5kw shower.
When on the coldest setting but on the highest heat setting out of the three settings the water is unbearably hot. I have to turn the heat setting to medium but then reduce the flow setting to very slow to get an acceptable temp
Any comments appreciated

Is it a new install? Has it always been like that? Have you cleaned out the Headset?

The shower has been installed for about 5 years. It's only recently been like I described and I've put a new headset on it recently

Was it a genuine mira headset you put on or a generc copy? Flow rate through headset determines temperature

It wasn't a genuine Mira headset I replaced it with? Could that affect it?

Take the headset off and see if you can control the water temprature coming out of the hose. If the headset is too restrictive then the water will be too hot.
