Advice on removing /improving look of scratches on my Yaris

Some person has caught my daughters car on the rear driver side bumper. I've tried using some old t cut scratch remover but it's not done much.

Would I be better off using normal t cut or is there something better please?

At least, the scratches are just on the lacquer coat, and not down to the plastic beneath!
A bodyshop would probably use a G3 cutting compound to shift the main damage - using a random orbit sander maybe - and finish with a G10
polishing medium which takes the scratches out left by the G3.
I guess you'll probably get there by using T cut, but it will take you forever.
Have you considered a Chipsaway mobile firm? The damage would be gone in 20 mins.

I was hoping to save some money. It's been an expensive few months.
Chips Away will want £100 to £200 to sort it

Sorry I can't quote their rates, but they would use a slow speed buffing mop with the compound.....this makes all the difference.
T Cut isn't really coarse enough for this work, but if you pop in to your local motor factor and see what they recommend?
T Cut was the original cutting compound, but that's long out of date now.

Check out you tube lots of videos on removing scratches and the kit required. Unless you are polishing cars regularly or interested in the “art” its probably easier to let someone else do it.
