Hello everyone,

I’m currently renovating my house and have installed Danfoss Ally radiator thermostats on my antique steam radiators. My steam boiler is a 30-year-old Peerless model, and I currently use a Honeywell thermostat.

I’d like to upgrade the Honeywell thermostat to a Danfoss Ally model to create a fully integrated, remotely controlled heating system. I’ve attached photos of my current thermostat for reference.

I would greatly appreciate any advice on which Danfoss Ally thermostat would be the best replacement. Thank you very much in advance!

Best regards,
Yael

It seems you’d need a battery operated one, or obtain a wireless version and possibly a gateway.

Thank you for your response! Since I’ve already purchased Danfoss Ally radiator thermostats, I do have a gateway set up. Also, since I’m currently renovating, I can run a power line to the thermostat controller if needed.

My main concern now is compatibility with my Peerless steam boiler. Any advice on models that would work well with my setup would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again!
