My shower cubicle has tiles, but the grouting has worn away over time, so water leaks past the tiles onto the wall behind the tiles.
I am hopeless with grouting maintenance, so I thought I would go for paneling, as there's no grouting to maintain.

I've found a company that will fit the paneling. However, they are saying they need to put the panels on top of the tiles. Is that correct or standard practice? Will the panels sit down properly if they are on top of tiles?

Do check with the panel manufacturer that the corner trims will accept this, and that the shower tray will accept the thicker material.
I use MultiPanel, 13mm thick.....best thing I’ve ever done!
Good luck with your project.
